Walking In The Light

God is Light. When there is Light, there is Truth. When there is Truth, there is a Way. When there is a Way, there is Life. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life!
Light overcomes darkness. It gives clarity, safety and energy!
Let your Light Shine Today!
5This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[b] sin.

8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.- The Amplified Bible

Online Baby CPR

I became a parent at age 29 and my life changed from then on. I became more responsible, caring and mature. One life has been entrusted to me by God and I better live up to that trust. Being a smart parent saves me from getting stressed and pressured from being a "parent" per se. I've learned to deal with my daughter with love and care and with objectivity. I attend lifeskills seminars about Parenting, Relationship, Career, Sex & Money and more... because I get so much from it. I make it a point to apply the learnings to real life situations, like in this case, Parenting. It is our ultimate goal to keep our child/ren safe at home. But accidents do happen and it matters to be knowledgeable and equipped with a lot of things during emergencies.

I've read that thousands of infants and young children die from choking, drowning, and suffocation each year and in most of these emergencies, the child's life could be saved if a PARENT (that's ME!...could also be YOU!) or loved one knew CPR. I agree!

Online Baby CPR offers a Full CPR course for only $7.95. Topics included in the full 6 months course are: Choking and Drowning Prevention, Child/Infant CPR (Breaths and Compression), Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and a lot more, which comes with pictures, videos and audio. Online training saves stay-at-home parent/s time and money from gas consumption, paying more and having to sit in CPR class.

Just to make it clear, this is not paid advertising. I find this site very useful and practical hence, I am sharing it with you, like spreading the good news! for I know that parents will definitely benefit from it. You'll never know when you'll need one!

Pre Birthday Peek

It’s a great Saturday morning. The weather is not too hot! Just enough warmth to start the day right! It’s a rest day for me and Gabby and I am  excited to go to church this evening!

I am composing this while Gabby is right beside me on the bed still in her deep and calm sleep!  She’s been so excited and looking forward to her 5th birthday on July 16. How time flies … she’s already 5!!! Her Auntie Llana is going to bake a cake for her on her birthday. I am not planning a big celebration though. I just want it to be a small and intimate family thing-y (LOL! Got that from Gabby). Her Dad promised to give her that trolley bag for school. How about Lola? Lola said she has a big surprise for her!!! Well, we’ll find out soon!

More than all these, I am thankful to God for His protection over Gabby and for loving her. He is my Partner in raising her up to be a wonderful child of God. He’s been our Provider and our Help. Thank You Father!!!

Learning To Relax

Meditation is a discipline in which one attempts to go further from the accustomed, “thinking” mind into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. It often involves focusing attention to a single point of reference. Meditation is known as a component in almost all religions worldwide.  Nevertheless, regardless of religion or affiliation, a lot of people – involved in life and work, engage with it to find serenity and calm in their life. I believe that Learning to Relax is one of the keys to a happy well being. This 8-Minute easy-to-follow Guided Meditation by is for beginners and is downloadable free of charge. With all the stress and pressures we get from work, the society, raising a family or managing a business, our mind so preoccupied with a lot of things, we tend to ignore what our body is trying to communicate to us. Oftentimes, stress manifests itself through pains and aches – in the head, shoulder, back, etc.   And if we don’t pay much attention to what we feel, we may end up really sickly and weakly. Meditation helps us focus our attention to these details and achieve mental and muscle relaxation to reduce daily stresses. It also clears your mind and enable you to have greater self awareness and creativity. Learn to relax and breathe beautifully to a happy and self- aware well being!

I'll Remember Father!

Good morning! Thank you Father for another day, fresh and full of challenges ahead. I set planks for my future today, I hold on to your promise of eternal life and salvation. I move forward like a good sheep, and keep my eye focused on that cross, like a loyal and precise archer, I aim purposefully at my target-- to advance your kingdom. Destructions also come fresh today, but I am ready to push them back and clear the road which I am in. I rebuke fear, witchcraft, lying heart, apathy, laziness and rebellious spirit. I will always remember where You took me from before You saved me, I'll take Your warnings well and act on them, and I'll remember where You promise to take me after all these.  I am your child, I belong to YOU Father, and YOU alone!!!
