Looking Better Now

Off to the doctor this day to get the xray result and for consultation.  Gabby has pneumonia with asthmatic component. The doctor suspected, as he looked at the xray plate, that it was actually the tail-end of a pneumonia which she probably had 4 weeks ago during the last asthma attack. Nevertheless, we were happy that she gained one kilo from that last episode, which is good news. I found out that there is no maintenance for pneumonia as there is for athma, so we are just going to continue to nebulize and start administering antibiotics for three days to get rid of those bacteria.

This was taken as we arrived home from the doctor's clinic. Didn't look sick here, yeah? I believe she will get better with God's grace. I will continue praying and laying hands on her until that sickness leaves her.

Better Than This Morning

Gabby is still with asthma. We've had her chest and lateral view x-rays earlier today. The results will be out tomorrow at 1pm, then we will see her doctor for a follow up check. I have faith in the Lord that she will be fine and is already healed from whatever sickness it is. After almost 10 minutes of coughing, crying and vomitting half an hour ago prior to writing this blog, she is now relieved and soundly asleep. I think she deserves one more day of rest before going back to school. She misses her classmates and her Teachers. 

Sickly Morning

I woke up earlier than usual to prepare for school in spite of lack of sleep the previous night. I am a part time Preschool Teacher at a Christian school in BF Homes Paranaque. Gabby, my daughter, goes to that school as well. She has had asthma attacks for two days now and last night's attack was a bad one. She was coughing hard every now and then therefore I was up every now and then to check on her. At 5:30am, I was already praying, then I had my usual cup of coffee. I went back in the room to check on her and found out she got a temperature. I decided to stay home so I could attend to her. I advised school about her condition, then I consulted her doctor. He adviced that we should already get an x-ray since her condition has been off and on for two consecutive months already.  So we'll be off to get one after lunch. We are ruling out possible Pneumonia.

I love to read books or magazines about personality development, character enhancement, financial principles, ethics, moral standard, home improvement, health and wellness, grooming, fashion or just about anything that I "think" will make me a better person and will broaden my knowledge. And yes it somehow influence my choices, opinions and decisions in life.  Some worked for me, sadly, most did not.
